Logbook Service

Starting from $199.

This is a service carried out as per the manufactures standards, this is done to retain your vehicles new car warranty. This can be as simple as a minor service, although prices are highly dependent on what service your vehicle is actually due for. Contact us now for a quote!

Minor Service

Starting from $199.

A Minor Service includes an oil and oil filter change, our 65 point safety inspection, DTC software scan of the vehicles ECUs, Check battery and electrical systems, Rotate and pump up tyres, check all oils & fluids and top up any as required, a Complete check over of every component of your vehicle.

Roadworthy Certificate

only $99

Active Auto Ace can come and to you to conduct a Mobile Roadworthy Inspection.
A Roadworthy Certificate is a safety certificate attached to a vehicle, once the vehicle meets the safety requirements set out by the QLD department of transport.

Diagnostics

Check engine light/DTC scan - $85

Diagnostics - $125 for the first hour
$100 for every hour after.

Broken down? Car wont start? Have an engine light on? Any other lights on the dash? Need diagnosis with any other issues with your vehicle?

Pre Purchase Vehicle Inspection

$135 - $165

We will do a full mechanical inspection on every component on the vehicle, along with our 65 point safety inspection, making sure the vehicle is ultimately safe to drive.
Rest assured you can make the correct decision, knowing the actual condition of the vehicle that you're wanting to purchase.
Includes a WOVR (written off vehicle register) report, so you are aware of any potential previous accidents or damage.

Any other mechanical repairs

We offer any mechanical service/repairs on top of servicing and diagnostics.
Anything from replacing brake pads on your vehicle to fitting a lift kit or an exhaust you have purchased for your vehicle.

Minor Servicing

Logbook Servicing

  • A logbook service is a service carried out as per the manufactures standards and specifications. This type of service is highly recommended if your vehicle is still in manufactures warranty, this service will retain your warranty and will not void it at all.
  • Prices are highly dependent on what type of vehicle and what is required to be replaced as per manufacture standards, get in touch today for a price!
  • On top of carrying out the logbook service (this service will always include an oil and filter change) we also complete the following;
  • 65 point safety inspection
  • Rotate and pump up tyres
  • Software scan to check for any DTCs (diagnostic trouble codes) that have been logged in the vehicles ECU.
  • Check and test all fluids in your vehicle, top up any as required.
  • A full breakdown of what we did and any potential concerns, no extra work will ever be carried out without prior approval from yourself.

Major Service

Starting from $599

  • Major Service pricing is highly dependent on exactly what's required to be replaced and what type of vehicle it is. Most 4 Cylinder petrol vehicles will fall under this price, and will include the following.
  • Oil and oil filter change
  • Air filter replaced
  • Cabin filter replaced
  • Fuel filter replaced
  • Spark plugs replaced
  • Brake fluid flushed and replaced.
  • Engine coolant replaced
  • 65 point safety inspection
  • Rotate and pump up tyres
  • Check and test battery and all electrical systems.
  • Complete check over of your vehicle, we check tyres, brakes, suspension, exhaust and all other components of your vehicle.
  • Software scan to check for any DTCs (diagnostic trouble codes) that have been logged in the vehicles ECU.
  • Check and test all fluids in your vehicle, top up any as required.
  • A full breakdown of what we did and any potential concerns, no extra work will ever be carried out without prior approval from yourself.

Diagnostics

$125 for the first hour,

  • If you are not after a complete diagnosis of your vehicle and just simply want to know what your check engine light code is or to just scan your vehicle for any DTCs, this would be $65.

Pre Purchase Vehicle Inspection

$135 - $165
  • Buying a new car?
  • A pre purchase vehicle inspection is always recommended when buying a new car.
  • We will give you a full mechanical breakdown of every component on the vehicle, along with our 65 point safety inspection, making sure the vehicle is ultimately safe to drive.
  • We will scan the vehicle for any DTCs (diagnostic trouble codes) that may be logged or previously logged in the vehicles ECU.
  • Rest assured you can make the correct decision, knowing the actual condition of the vehicle you're wanting to purchase.
  • This inspection is not a Road Worthy Certificate, but actually far more in depth. A vehicle can still pass a road worthy with underlying mechanical issues, potentially costing you thousands, don't get caught out and let us inspect the vehicle you want, before you purchase it!
